Domain Controllers are critical to any business. To maintain the redundancy of network, System Administrator often installs and configures the NIC Teaming on the Microsoft Windows Server. NIC Teaming also known as Load Balancing/fail-over (LBFO), allows you to add multiple Ethernet cards to the Domain Controller or any Servers and team or combine as a Single Virtual NIC. Adding the NICs provides the ability to double the existing bandwidth or more depending upon the NIC cards added to your Domain Controller.
There are two modes you can configure Windows Teaming
1. Switch Independent
2. Switch Dependent
NIC Teaming provides Fault Tolerance. On the event of failure for any NIC or Cable does n’t bring the Domain Controller down.
In this PowerShell Script, we are generating the health status of Network Adapters from all the Domain Controllers across the Forest.
